Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled tour time to complete a small amount of paperwork, which includes a few questions about your health, medications, past pregnancy issues and your current insurance. Feel free to download and complete this Interest Form ahead of time, and then bring it with you during your tour. (Please note: this is strictly an informational interest form only meant for the tour; this is not a New Patient form.) We will also give you a brief evaluation form that we ask you complete at the end of the tour and Q&A session. We appreciate your feedback as we are always trying to make improvements.
We conduct our tours in a group setting. Please come prepared with questions; if it would make you more comfortable, please feel free to write down your questions and drop them in our question jar. The CNM will read them and answer them during your time with her.
You will then have a guided tour of the facility. Following the tour, you will be seated in our family room and the CNM will meet with your group for an informal Q&A session. She will answer any questions you might have and will usually share about how TBC functions within the greater Sacramento community, especially in relation to hospitals and obstetricians. If time allows and if there is interest, she may share other things about TBC and its history.
We will give you time to complete the evaluation form at the completion of the Q&A session.
People usually know right after the tour whether TBC is a good fit for them and often want to schedule their first visit at that moment. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate 4-5 couples all wanting to do that at once. We do ask that you inform the front office person whether you would like for us to contact your insurance company to determine how much of your care at TBC they will cover.
Again, we will not be scheduling any new patient visits on the day of your tour. Please call back later in the week or the following week. This will give us a chance to go over your interest form, as well as our schedules. We have a very small staff, so we appreciate your patience during this initial process.
Thank you for your interest in TBC. We look forward to meeting you!
